This is a very unique retractable 2 point seat belt (lap belt only). It is a perfect restraint for a middle bench seat position or any back seat position where a retractable lap belt is needed. And of course it is Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) #209 & #302 approved! It's unique design allows it to remain neatly out of the way towards the back of the seat when not in use. The male portion of the belt is connected to the retractor unit so the retractor travels with the male portion of the buckle as it is pulled across the occupant's body to snap into the female portion. These are universal fit lap belts so they are great for most any middle position front bench seat or side or middle back seat applications. This restraint is NOT ALR. They are installed basically just like any of our Non-Retractable 2 point lap belts. Price includes 1 seat belt for 1 occupant. Extends to 60 inches. Available in black only.
Note: Does NOT have electrical wiring, so they cannot be electrically wired to alarms or airbags.

Each optional 212 replacement hardware kit includes all the hardware that you need for 1 seatbelt.

Not a lap seat to use for car seat for toddlers

Seat belt works and fits well. However, I put my toddler in the middle and the seat belt goes directly behind him. Upon buckling the car seat in, the bulky part of this seat belt is directly under his back. Not safe for him.

Nice belt option tonreduce the mess

We own a bus that has been converted to a race hauler. It originally had some (school) bus seats incase we took anyone along. Recently i came across some shuttle bus seats for free and decided it was time for an upgrade. During the installation I noticed the seats were set up for lap belts. Even though the lack of belts had never been an issue, indecided to install some and provide passengers with the option of buckling up. Not wanting a mess of belts i came across these. I was also able to order some shorter female buckles. Once installed the belts were neat and tidy on the seats. The second weekend after the belts were installed some friends were headed to the race with us, but appeared apprehensive about riding with us. As they were loading up they saw the belts and expressed their relief as they were able to belt up the kiddos. (And the adults). No complaints only compliments
